Iraq reached the semifinals with a 3-0 victory of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-21 over Kuwait.
Bahrain also confirmed progress to the last four with a straight sets victory of 25鈥�22, 25鈥�9 and 25鈥�22 over Syria.
In the second semifinal, the Bahrainis will meet Lebanon, who defeated Palestine 3-2, with 18-25, 25-23, 25-22, 27-29 and 16-14, in the quarterfinals.
